William C. Bollard is an experienced trial lawyer, arbitrator and mediator who has successfully tried to verdict complex business matters in both state and federal courts.  With an AV rating by Martindale Hubble for more than 25 years, he specializes in business litigation.  He also has extensive international experience as a litigator, arbitrator and mediator in cross-border matters.

Mr. Bollard’s practice experience includes business fraud and embezzlement litigation, intellectual property litigation, professional liability, products liability, trade secret misappropriation, employment litigation, class actions, real estate litigation, corporate and partnership counseling, inverse condemnation, creditor’s rights litigation in bankruptcy court and appellate advocacy including writs and appeals before the California Court of Appeal, Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and the World Court.

Mr. Bollard is a member of the California Association of Realtors Panel of Mediators. He has heard many dozens of mediations stemming from disputes over real estate transactions including rescission matters, disclosure cases, and earnest money disposition.  Having been trained at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Mr. Bollard brings more than 35 years of litigation experience to the disputes he mediates.  Mr. Bollard is also former panel member of the American Arbitration Association.

Mr. Bollard received his Juris Doctorate Degree with Honors from Pepperdine University School of Law, in Malibu, CA, where he was editor of the Law Review.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from Brigham Young University.

Prior to founding Julander, Brown & Bollard, Mr. Bollard founded Chapman, Fuller & Bollard, in Irvine, California.   Mr. Bollard has also practiced at the law firms Call, Clayton & Jensen in Newport Beach, CA and McCutchen, Black, Verleger & Shea in Los Angeles, CA.  He has acted as Special Consultant to the Mexican Federal Judicial Council in matters involving Mexico in the United States of America.  Mr. Bollard currently serves as the Regional Director for Latin America for the Geneva Office for Humans Rights Education (www.go-hre.org).  In that role, he travels throughout Latin American promoting curriculum that teaches school-aged children about their human rights and responsibilities.

In his spare time, Bill loves playing with his garage band Kill Bill.
